For birth center clinical staff – a special training opportunity
Essential Care for Every Baby (ECEB) is a newborn care module of the Helping Babies Survive series developed by the Maternal and Child Survival Program, the American Academy of Pediatrics, Saving Newborn Lives, and Laerdal Global Health. Like Helping Babies Breathe, which was the first course in this series, ECEB is a train-the-trainer coarse. Those completing the course will be qualified to return to their birth centers and train additional staff members. Birth center staff will the first in Haiti to receive ECEB training thanks to a program of the LDS Church, which has now trained over 300 providers of Helping Babies Breathe.
* No additional cost for ECEB training on Thursday, but registration will be limited for this full day event.
